Activities of Daily Living (ADLS)

Activities of Daily Living: ADLs are the essential tasks that each person needs to perform, on a regular basis, for basic survival and well-being. These activities include bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, work, play/leisure and home management. School based occupational therapy may help with school related ADLs that take place during the school day such as managing personal belongings at a student's locker/cubby space or desk. School related ADLs can include self-feeding and toileting tasks.
