Visual perception allows an individual to make accurate judgments on size, configuration and spatial relationships of objects. Visual perception skills include the identification and recognition of shapes, objects, colors and other qualities. Students utilize these skills for such tasks as locating items in their backpacks, completing a puzzle, learning to write, and looking for a specific color marker from a bin of markers.
